problems getting epsxe to work

well i dont know if this is the right place to ask or not so bear with me. i just recently downloaded epsxe and now im trying to play a game with it(lunar silver story complete) when i try to open the game(bin file) a little box pops up that says "missing render-texture extension" and "no pixel format available". so im trying to figure out what i need to configure, download, and/or do to get the game to work.

By the sounds of it, your graphics card stinks, so. If your using petes OpenGL2 then don't, use OpenGL instead, get it from here

ok i went with opengl. now all im getting is a black screen. any other suggestions or am i just SOL
