Gamesharks

Ok me and my bro got into an arguement about the psx right and it was about modded cosoles and i rememberd something about gameshark being a bootdisk basically and i told him and he said it wasnt and we got into an argument, now who is right.

A gameshark could load foreign titles on the playstation I know. I remember alot of people playing the japanese FF8 that way.

Wasn't there a hardware Gameshark that you could plug into your Playstation?

Update, I found the one I gave Charline, it plugs into a parallel port on the older Playstations.

So, there's a CD version, and a hardware plugin.

I think there is a memory card version they released after the newer playstation models came out too.
