Question Cheat Question - Duke Nukem: Time to Kill

Hi, I'm extremely new to this. Hope I didn't post this in the wrong section.

If I were to emulate a PSX game such as Duke Nukem: Time to Kill in ePSXe, and I had [pec], how would I go about finding the specific level that I'm on so that I could change that number? That seems like something that would be really hard to find because the level stays the same for such a long time like on the first level, and I would assume it stays at 1 until you get to level 2, unless maybe it starts at 0? What should I do? Hopefully someone has tried something like this before.

Also, why is it that you can find cheat codes on the internet that will work on the PSX (like Up, Down, Left, X, Square, Left, Down), but not on ePSXe? At least, these codes don't seem to work in ePSXe for me. Why is this?

Ok, first of all, moved to the ePSXe section.

If you need Gameshark codes, go here All the work is done for you. All you have to do is put in where you want to go, it doesn't matter where you are.

As for regular button codes, anything that works on the PSX should work on ePSXe. Are you sure you're inputting them correctly, in the right places, or that they are even valid at all?

Yes, I'm sure I'm inputting them the right way and that they're valid. Doesn't seem to be working though, and I'm not sure why. It might be because of the controller I'm using and the way it reads the axises.

Either way though, the codes that are on that site will do everything I want! Thanks a million!

Try going here:
PEC CMGSCCC Code Database

It already has all the cheats from the cmgsccc site all formatted to work with PEC.

Oh, I know you linked to the code site, but the page I linked has a little database I made that has all the GSCCC codes in PEC formatted database files.
