Any PSX emulator/plugin ever going to be multithreaded?

I'm using P.E.o.P.S. or whatever, and the nice settings don't give me a constant 60 FPS. CPU load is only 50%.

Any news on a emulator/plugin that can take advantage of dual-core?

You can't get a constant 60 FPS with Peopse Soft GPU? Dual core processors sound awesome.

Something else is going on when you can't run Peops at 60 fps. What resolution are you running it at?

NTSC, anywhere between 53-60FPS. When there's a lot of stuff onscreen, or I dash, it has that slight slow down. I know it isn't much, but it's annoying.

Try the Nice preset. What other things are you running at the same time? I have a feeling that there is *one* program or service or something that's totally in the way.

Gives me this problem when I try other plugins(mostly Pete's D3D and OpenGL): Megaman X sprites messed up

Have you tried pSX?

Maybe you and this game were never meant to be together.

Wouldn't want to criticise peops soft gpu, but there is still much potential in it.
Same with the main emu's.
But x86 ASM, for example, means architectural incompatibilities so i guess it's gonna stay preety a modest speeder.

Better than what? I honestly don't know what you're talking about. That smiley means that there might be something you know that I don't.

You still didn't answer my question. pSX, mother****er. Have you tried it?

(I hope you've seen Pulp Fiction)

If your problem still persists you should take some things into consideration: If you use Pete's OGL or D3D Plugin don't use any Texture Filtering to prevent those Plugins to mess your Sprites up. If you do want Filtering my advice would be to use one of those Hqx Shaders around. As for peops i don't know why it won't work properly, i never had any problem with it. Maybe your CD is scratched or your Drive is bottlenecking. Other than that i can in no way imagine how it's slowing your system down so bad.
Personal advice try using SSSPSX and see if you still have the same problems.
