ccd, sub, cue files
The PSX ISOs that I have come with these extra files besides the actual ISO. Are they necessary to play the ISOs in an emulator, or is it safe to delete them?

What I was asking is can ePSXe play games without cue, ccd, and sub files?

Try it and see if your computer explodes ![]() No, seriously, those files are in addition to the main image file. Alcohol 120% and CloneCD can make those, among others. If you have the original discs you can just put them in your CD drive and make your own ISOs, no need to waste your time downloading an ISO that might be sketchy anyway.
