probs with cvgs

got some trouble with connectix virtual gamestation.
after testing several others i'm trying now to play on cvgs because i'd used it several years ago.

my prob now is that when starting the prog it says that cvgs needs a pentium-class processor.i've a pentiumIII but it seems to have problems...
do anyone could say me what i'd have done wrong?
do i need a driver and where do i get that?
allready searched but was unabel to find any driver for this processor.

I suggest that you stop bothering with VGS and that you try a pSX instead.
It's new and very easy to use.

Driver for a processor? Wow....I don't think this kind of drivers exist... And CVGS is pretty outdated . Imo Give a try to pSX more recent and compatible.

Edit: Hey Shendo actually beat me to it, I should stop sleep in front of my PC!

I see you still want to use CVGS, However you'll keep having problems if you use it.

So even if you manage to fix that problem, you'll notice most games do not work or don't work properly as the compatibility isn't as great as say the newer PSX Emulators such as, pSx, epsxe, and other ones.

CVGS is now outdated and old as compared to other emulators and tend to cause a lot of problems, Seeing how they were shut down a while back.

If you are having trouble with the other emulators we could help, in fact I don't see what the problem would be if using pSx, It has much better compatibility than CVGS, is Really easy to configure in comparison with other emulators, as it doesn't use a plugin system, it runs well on older systems, and all while giving you the same graphics CVGS would have

pSX is the way to go for simple, no-nonsense emulation (that's the main reason kura's been playing through FF7 on it even though she doesn't have much PSX emulation knowledge) but ePSXe is just as rewarding (though harder to configure)

I've never seen that error with a P3 rekibor, only with a P4.

I therefore suggest you go here www.aldostools.com - Connextix VGS Patch for Windows 2000/XP and Pentium 4 by Aldo Vargas and see if the P4 fix works.

I hope I've been some help by actually answering the question you asked.
