Great job with BOF4, I would have finished posted mine, however i cant get any of my codes to work for this game. Seems as though I have a PAL version of the game, although I'm not quite sure. Would that make any difference for the codes?

Ok, welcome to the club, if you need any help just let me know. I posted a short helper on the first page, about the 5th or 6th post down. It's not real in depth, but will help with the wild cards if you have problems.

Jokers are pointless, only because you can turn pec on and off in game. There is not need for them, so I delete them. As for notes, I can't remember, I think you put a period or something after the code description, but I'm just throwing crap against the wall. I'll check into it to make sure, but I've not included any notes so far. If I wanted the user to know something I normally just put the info in () out in front of the code description. If you don't want to wait on a reply from me, just check out the original code list, a lot of those have descriptions with them, just mimic the examples. Is this the correct info for wild arms 2 SCUS_944.84. I have finished it wanted to add this data but was not sure if it is correct. I have a compiled list of all the techs and items for Saga Frontier I in PEC DB format. AFAIK, these should be the USABLE techs and items. I don't have any dummied items or misplaced techs in the list. Due to the broken formatting on the CMGSCCC website, it is possible that I am missing a tech or two. In fact, I'm almost sure of it. If anyone has the character portion of the codes, it would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, I'm going to start work on that tonight. |

babygiant, excellent job with WA2! Thanks for the help with the project, and as far as I know you are limited to those to options for viewing the files. Renaming to codelist or merging. As for Saga Frontier drakonsan, I was working on one of those in a prior post. I posted the items I needed sorted out to finish it up, but never got a response. If you want I'll upload what I've got done to possibly save you some time if you haven't got to far. Let me know.

The TXT file I uploaded is ready to be dumped into the PEC database, barring any improper punctuation. Please take a look and see that you don't already have something better, as I'm not exactly sure what you're telling me. =/ |

Awesome. This is nearly done. I will add the character codes for Current HP (which should be located at the address 3001XX02) and clean up the names list and add the techs and items to work from cute little listbox menus, thus saving a bit of space in the DB and frustration in searching the CMGSCCC pages for tech and item values.

SaGa Frontier's list is complete. Everything is in there except for the things that aren't. Notable changes: The max stat codes have been changed to allow users to input their own values instead of having them locked at 99. This is for those that might want to lock their characters at low stats for a challenging game, or just to gimp their least favorite character. Item/Race/Tech values have been compiled into a list and put in the header. There are a few techs that have an "a" and "b" version, as well as a few ???? techs. This is due to the fact that a tech may have multiple segments. I have not tested these values, use at your own risk. Duplicate code addresses were removed. The last code of every section was duplicated. Not anymore. ![]() Please rape the game responsibly. |

I did not see it, so must ask... were those Tarot Card Modifiers for Tactics Ogre ever finished? I think that considering I'm basically the only person trying to keep CEP working in pSX (which sucks but is the best pSX can use), I might as well contribute to PEC as well. I hope to be at least somewhat useful. Great work to all of you so far, by the way. Edit: I noticed you said a page can't be directly loaded from the site. However, I just imported a bunch of codes directly from CMGSCCC... without saving the page to my computer or anything. Everyone is using "[pec] Cheat Database Editor 2.1" (aka PecEdit) and tried the "Import from HTML (Online)..." option, right?

babygiant, if it is crashing then most likely the page contains to many wildcards. I had this problem with a lot of the games I did. The solution is either you can go in a delete the html up to the table section where the codes start, or you can visit the page you are copying over. The only time I run into the problem was when I used the save as when I right clicked the link. It saves it as php without the folder. What you may need to do is revisit, and go to the page you are saving and right click the page itself, not the link going to the page. I'm not sure what difference that makes, but both solutions have worked for me in the past. To be honest I've started deleting the html up the table section for most of my recent ones, just because it loads up quicker for the digit pages and it also knocks out that irritating PSone line that appears for some reason. It just gives an all around better import, saving a bit of time. drakonsan, excellent job getting SF finished, I'll have to check it out in a bit. Gamesoul Master, as far as the modifiers go, I can't recall. I always included what was on the CMGSCCC site. The only thing I've left out of my databases are the jokers to my knowledge. I know some of the pages on their site said coming soon, but we know that most likely will not happen, so sadly I could not add those sections. I have however started browsing other possible sources for codes. An example would be ogre battle, I got some codes off of gamefaqs, just because I wasn't happy with what CMGSCCC offered. No class codes or stat codes, it was kinda sad. So with the one I have now all of that is included. I didn't add everything off the faq, but the majority. It's not been uploaded yet, just because I haven't got around to finishing it up completely. Ok, I forgot what I was talking about for a second.... well any ways, I'm glade our little PEC club is finally taking off, we may get this thing done yet. iam new to this forum , i please u guys to help me out :S ... i played bof4 pc version for a day and get to almost last part ! iam in astana ( or whatever it call :x ) with ursula , at old place when ryu , nina and cray was there for lina searchin .......the jail i beleave !after killed some craps in underground room where there is big monster coupse in the pool ... then my game crash ! ... >_> ... i don't know how to fix that ... so if any1 have some save above that 1 plz share for me .. or atleast show me how to get out of this error .. ty ..!
