Is there a PSX emu coming out for the DS?

I love my DS lite and i dont want to settle for a psp to play my psx games on the go, is there by any chance a PSX emu in the works for the DS lite, That would make me a happy panda

No, and you will not see a PSX emulator for DS. It's impossible.

Actually, it is possible. We just won't see one anytime soon. I wouldn't hold my breath for it.

No, its not possible. The DS is powerful as a handheld, but its actually weaker than the N64. Since the N64 and PSX were out at the same time, and had similar graphic capabilities, if the DS is less powerful than a N64, than how do expect to get a playstation emulated? It generally takes a system of at least 3x higher specs than the system you are trying to emulate for it to be playable.

I'm fairly certain that it's completely impossible as far as commercial games go; we might see demos being run on it, but that's about it. I wonder if Vib Ribbon is a possibility...
