Help on xenogears!

when your underwater with your gears to find the third gate it dosent show anything its just pich black so can someone who has gotten to disk 2 in the iso can you tell me how to fix this probem

increase your framebuffer effects to full if using hardware accel plugin (OGL, etc) or use a software plugin for this part.

The pb is that in this part of the game there is a "water effet" that is not rendered leaving the screen with only black.
