Clock Tower PSX?

I know there are two Clocktower sequels for the PSX - one titled just "Clocktower", that starts with one Barton at some university, and another titled, I believe, "The Struggle Within". BUT... I've also read of a supposed PSX remake of the first, original game, the SNES one. I could not find it anywhere, though - nor did I see any descriptions of it, or screenshots. So, does it actually exist at all, or is it just a legend or a misunderstanding?
