Of the current emulators, which is best?

Of all the emulators:

» AdriPSX
» ePSXe
» Flarestorm 2.0
» PSinex
» pSX Emulator
» PSXeven
» SSSXPSX

Which would be the best in terms of graphical enhancement and compatibility?

my specs:

Nvidia GeForce 6800 Series GPU 256MB
Intel Pentium 4 3.4GHz (2 CPUs)
1022MB RAM

I used to use ePSXe on my laptop, which had specs about half what this comp does and i had fairly good results using the best pete's plugins and such.....but now, i've found out about pSX, which is referred to as an "advanced" emulator....

anyways, I don't even know what would be best, anymore...So I thought i'd ask those who know...

im pretty sure this has been asked a lot, but i dont feel like looking right now and you probably didnt either.

most people use ePSXe or PSXeven. SSSPSX is great, and pSX is coming up (and is popular for different reasons).

"graphical enhancement" is quite subjective---what do you want out of emulation? and what games are you gonna play? for the most part, i use OGL2 for 3D games and Peops software GPU for 2D games. although, sometimes i use OGL just so i can use AA.

yeah, i have epsxe...and i'm pretty satisfied with it so far...but i just tried to play FF6, and the cutscenes don't have any audio. My only reason for emulating, actually, is because the emulator makes the graphics look better than the ps2 can.

anyways, so epsxe is still leading the game, then, huh?

any tips on what figuration I should setup to get the best out of FF6 and actually get the sound during the FMV's to work?

ePSXe 1.52 becuz a lot of people said that it was actually better than 1.6. But 1.6 doesnt have that Command Prompt box/window open in the back. Also that some games works better on the old version. Also AdriPSX sux only becuz you cant switch disc with the emulator. A lot of people ended up playing their game over again becuz of this frustration.

Run-->Enable Logs

and a lot of games were fixed for 1.6.0, ya know. they didnt release a new version for nothing. GT2, CTR, some others had significant fixes. also, you can use two analog controllers.

The only PSX emulators I've used have been the Bleem! demo waaaay back and ePSXe which I've used without trouble since 2003. The modular nature of ePSXe makes it a winner in my books.

Perhaps a poll would help, but I would recommand ePSXe or SSSPSX.
These emulators have excellect compatiblity to any other emulators listed.
