Hey there, I'm a bit new to pec[chu] but I've followed the tutorials and I have a pretty good understanding of how it works now. Only thing I'm having trouble with is what is the best way to search for something like a timer. The tuts on the website are about health bars and decreasing said bars.
I tried searching for a value that "increases" and I can't seem to freeze the timer. I'm trying to hack FF9 and basically freeze the game clock. Anyone successfully done this or know the best way to get at the timer hex codes?

just search for such cheat online. cmgscc.com is a great place full of gameshark codes.

I tried that, but I own the PAL version of the game and have been searching for YEARS for a code like that.
