vibration with a PSX to USB adapter from RadioShack

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this. I wasn't sure what fourm to ask this on.

Any ways. I just bought a PSX to USB adapter from RadioShack. For some reason I can't get the vibration to work at all. In the effects page under properties; when I move the lift analog stick to control the rumble nothing happens. Has anyone else had a problem with this adapter? I'm using a dual shock 2 controller, so I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

I think its because your using a PS2 controller instead of a PSX one, i had the same problem before my adapter completely broke down...

Okay thanks. From what I've found out is it's a DX9 problem. Oh well. Rumble isn't that important I actually find it kind of annoying.

BTW, how long did yours last before it went out?

mine works with ps2 dual shock controller just fine, and i have dx9c. did you turn on the analog button? epsxe with vibration will crash the device driver anyway.
