Im considering to buy from Radioshack the PS2 controller to USB adapter but on the adapter's box was written its compatible with PS2 controllers will it work with Ps1 controller also? the seller told me it would, what do you think?

Yep. The only real difference is the buttons are analogue, which directX can't do anyways

Its not that great, the vibration never worked for me in the first place -_-

vibration is pretty crappy so far in PSX emulation, dunno about using the USB adapters in a regular game with vibration. it's overrated anyway, especially in PC games.

I know the Logitech Wingman Rumblepad's rumble function works with ePSXe (Gran Turismo 2 at the very least) so that's always an alternative.

Set: rumble -> directX pad-> analog small -> sine large -> constant That ought to work for most (of course you need a dual shock game too )

hushy: I've only tried it with Gran Turismo 2 but the rumble seemed to perform flawlessly, no lag at all . I'll try it with some other games when I get the chance.

Call a wako and weird, but I have the affirmentioned device on a PS1 controller and also logitech wingman Joystics. Neither epsxe nor the N64 emulators give me trouble with the rumble options. It also works on regular PC games.
