is there a program that will test CDs?

basically, it would be nice to know if all my game disks are readable before I start playing. Is making ISOs of the disks enough, or is there a program that will read the CD and make sure that all the data is good?

If you can make an ISO it's usually a good sign. If you need further confirmation, AFAIK Nero has a tool to test CDs for damaged sectors.
