all i want to do

is play chrono cross. my ps2 broke down, i dont have the money to buy a new one. i just want to play chrono cross. i am not very smart with computers, so i want a nice simple way to play chrono cross on my computer. i have a windows 98 computer so if i could just get some recomendatons on what emulator i can download and whatever else to play chrono cross that would be greatly appreciated. thanks for your time.

You need to let us know more about your computer specs. Anyway, my advice is, download ePSXe, the plugins(Pete's GPU, Pete's SPU/Eternal SPU, etc) and a PSX BIOS(do NOT ask us where to get it, try google). Read through the manuals to set them up properly. Make an ISO of your Chrono Cross CD and run the game off that.

There's an alternative way which is easier though, you don't have to get a new PS2 to play Chrono Cross, so just buy a PSone, which is damn cheap nowadays.

It should come with ePSXe if you downloaded it from the official website, I have attached mine in this post anyway.
