Breath of Fire IV and pec cheat codes prob

Been trying the past few hours to get a few codes working for this game but to no avail. I got the codes from http://www.cmgsccc.com/psx/index.php?multi=8&page=17 (CMGSCCC) which is were i get most of my codes from. I've entered them into pecedit via pecedit v2.02, the user database and manually into the cheatlist.inf file. I've been playing the game using epsxe v1.6.0. I used other games in past like bof 3 with this emulator and the pec plugin before with cheat codes working and all. The version of bof IV that i'm using i believe is PAL but i not too sure about that. The pec plugin loads just fine and i get no error messages. The only problem is that the cheats just dont work and i'm at a loss to figure out why and of course how to get them to work. Any help with be greatly appreciated. I've included a txt version of the piece of the cheatlist i've been using in txt formatt (hoped it worked). Thanks lots in advance!!!
