PSX v PS2

So, after all this reading, and stuffing around, did i hear right?
emu's wont work Ps2 games?

there are PS2 emu's in development.
PCSX2 is the most promising ps2 emu right now. PS2 emu will probably be at decent speeds and showing all graphics in 2 -3 years (just guessing)
