Linux, unable to mount imports.

Hi guys,
i´m not sure if this is the right forum... well anyways. I have trouble mounting some of my import games just wont mount on my slackware system. All my german ones do. Some of the imports too (i guess the PAL ones). But the US-imports wont work. i get a filesystem error.

Can anyone help?

Re: Linux, unable to mount imports.

Although I don't have import games, I see no reason why linux would make a difference. After all, a PSX cd is little more than a usual CD-Rom with some bad sectors that make the copy protection. PAL or NTFS is a software issue, it might make a difference for the emu but not for the OS.

I agree that a PSX CD is special, but it doesn't use any bad sectors as boot protection. A standard PC CD-ROM won't even make a difference.

You probably mean NTCS...

Aniway, ammoQ is probably right. Is your CD scratched or anything? tried running it from an ISO?
