are your discs severely scratched? that could attribute to it. how fast is your drive? are you doing a lot of tasks in the background?

Re: PSXcd to ImageFile Elapsed time...

Hmm... my longest ever ISO making was Max Payne (I run any games I'm currently playing from ISOs to keep my CDs safe), and that only took an hour, but that was because of the bad sectors at the beginning, combined with the fact that for some reason only Slave drives support fast error skipping.
No PSX games have ever taken e more than 5 minutes. Hell no DVD ever takes more than 20.
I use Alcohol 120%

By Slave I mean on the IDE chain. You know you have 2 IDE chains, and each one can hold 2 devices: A master and a Slave.
Yes Alcohol is great. It's superior to CloneCD IMO

By what means superior?
what are the features of ALCOHOL 120%
that doesn't have in CloneCD?

Re: PSXcd to ImageFile Elapsed time...

In my experience, Alcohol is faster. The virtual drive supports more image formats, the program supports more image formats. It's better at dealing with copy protection.....
