Ripping PSX Movies

I want to get a certain movie from my FF8 PSX CD. I downloaded PSPlay and PSMPlay and tried them and both dont work.

Can anyone explain this to me in detail or tell me where I could get working copies of PSPlay and PSMPlay?

I get my FFVIII FMV with PSMPlay ... are you sure you've configure the CD ROM properly? I can even get the FFIX FMV with PSMPlay, so it must be not the PSMPlay fault.

I either have no idea how to use it (which I dont) or something is wrong.

Re: Ripping PSX Movies

I wasn't saying that the movies were together as one. I was saying that they are compressed in one file rather than ff9 shows all the fmv's to you.

Re: Ripping PSX Movies

Dreaken13, I'm having the exact same problem with PSMplay

"It probably isnt but when I try and do anything involving the drives it bring of the screen with the E: and F: drives available, but theres nothing in them!"

In fact, I've also tried using .img files that have a .cue file and when I select the "Analyze DAO image" and give in the .cue file it says "DAO file "ff9cd2.img" is not exist" when it does exist.
I don't know...

I just want to use this thing as a (full screen) player (no conversion for me). Is there anything elseout there?

P.S. " is not exist" .....hahahahahahahahahhaah (lol)

Dreakon13:
I think you need ForceASPI.
http://ngemu.com/download.php?action=file&id=32

Wright45:
Just manually type "ff9cd2.img" instead of "ff9cd2.cue" in the "file name" edit box.

Thanks Niektory, That worked...
I have another question though. When I analyse the image, It only finds movies on FF9, How do I get the soundtracks for levels, and just background music?
When I analyse the image, I have every type I can search for checked, but it doesn't find any soundtracks.

You can't extract music with this program. But I think you can download it from http://pseudoangel.com/mewsik/psf/Fi...antasy%209.rar
