what is the best or better ps emu for the linux os

well, there'r 2 PSX emus availables, P©SX and ePSXe, so u don't have the same choice as for Windows.

IMHO ePSXe has more compatibility, but it doesn't have some features P©SX has, like support for NeGcon (by the Gismo's padNeGcon) and analog pads (by ammoQ's padJoy). And, non plus ultra, P©SX doesn't need a PSX bios :-)
