Copying Disk...

I recently bought Castlevania: SotN used and the thing is scratched to hell. It worked for the first 3 weeks I had it and then it started giving me problems. My friend has a copy and its in perfect condition. I was wondering if there was a way to make a copy of his on a CD so it will be read on my PSX or PS2. I know you can make copies that work on the emulators because I made a copy of Tony Hawk 2 for my brother so they don't always lose my games. Can anybody help me?

You can backup your CD's on a CD-R but youll need a modchip to be able to play on your psx. or u can use a GameShark to boot them i think.

Well you can use an iso program to make an iso out of your game and play it with an emu. You an also use the iso to create a backup by burning it .

so to play it on my psx or ps2 i need a gameshark or a modchip?...how would I do it with a gameshark?

No you need a modchip... unless you have an initial release PSX.

modchips are illegal so discussing them here isnt alowed. youll have to find yourself i guess
