Valkyrie Profile Movie Conversion Problem

Hi! I tried to extract streaming video files using PSXMc from my Valkyrie Profile CDs yesterday, it did work actually but the only problem was the sounds are missing. I didnt encountered this prob converting movies from other PSX games. What seems to be the problem? Thanx!

Hi, i´ve tried the same thing and get the same problem; also i can´t get the music (the one you can play in the sound menu)

I supouse that the audio from the videos are separate, so when we can find a way to take out the music, the audio from the videos must be there.

This comes because when you invouke (sorry i´m still learning) a big magic (when it plays a video), the audio varies with the magician you use to invoke it. What do you think????

Is there any plugin for PsxMC that can extract the video and movie files from VP CD's and put them together (like the ones used for FF8 and FF9) I haven't heard of them yet, I tried to search but nothing happend... Maybe it still does not exist.

By the way Seifer, are you playing VP on ePSXe?, I also have a little problem about playing the game on my PC. I'm currently at disc 2, and is about to acquire the character Grey. But a scene stucks and wont continue evan if i change the settings, plugins and everything. Maybe you can help...

Actually, i´ve play with ePSXe and VGS 1.3 and VGS 1.41 with VP Patch (US), but in my system ePSXe doesn´t work well, because of my video card (SIS 630 - 64 MB shared).

But if you get stuck you should try to switch to VGS, advance that part and return to ePSXe.

In your case, i recommend to switch to VGS 1.41 with VP Patch (US) with the pec codes for saving anywhere and black map (everything found in aldo´s site), get Grey, go to a town or dungeon, save the game and return to ePSXe.

If you got another trouble, tell me.

You can't get the sound if its synth, like final fantasy.
About the movies without sound just be aware of the logo they have in the selection menu. Insert a diferent game and you should be seeing two differents. One is for movies with sound and the other one for movies without sound. Tha valkirye profile ones dont have sound since they use the internal music of the game.
