PSM Play CD Trouble

How can i assign the CD drive in PSMPlay? mines didnt come with documentation and the online manual doesn't help. Every time i enter the name of my CD hardware into the D: drive space and press enter, it goes blank. I know this is a little vaugue, but any help would be appreciated. (i am also running XP, which ive heard uses weird CDROM configurations) and my hardware is a LITE-ON CDrw drive
