Sound Quality is emulating biggest problem

Hey guys,I think sound quality happens to be emulating biggest to date.A lot has been done visually and it all depends on your grphic hardware, though PSX doesn't require something very heavy(Thank God),but sound is still behind it's fellow compatriot.

on commerical PSX emulators like Bleem! and VGS the sound quality is not that good if u use a emulator like ePSXe and use a good SPU plug-in like peops dsound and Eternal SPU it is close to how it sounds on the PSX....

I dunno, I'm having problems getting alot of games working properly. (visually, the sound is usually fine) I think compatibility is the biggest problem. I can't even run FF8 on my system. I figured my system was superior to psx hardware... =(

The only problem in your config is your videocard.
The superior hardware is explained easily: some effects are not so fast in a pc as its in a specialized hardware (like framebuffer effects).

Sound In epsxe

The quality of sound in EPSXE is usually quite good but video (such as intros) seem to nearly all have problems, hopefully new releases of the plugins will work on this drastically as it is the only thing that really needs to be done to make PSX emulation perfect.

Yeah, I really think a 1.5 GHz machine is inferior to a Mhz machine

GB£30 for the connection. My server cost about GB£100, not including the hard drives
