You meant Forbidden Memories? I have been running this game on ePSXe without any glitches, using Peops GPU and Eternal SPU btw.

I don't see the point in using a soft gpu on ePSXe, if your going to do that you might as well use VGS, unless the game doesn't play on it of course.

Well, yes!

When you face Seto for the first time, it will be kinda hard!
But, with some time, you can get stronger cards and beat him easily...But your cards are no challenge to Banditt Kietch.

Do you get my point

Really? When did VGS start supporting full screen filters like 2xSai, Super Eagle, and MAME's 2x saale? I don't remember it doing this.... When did VGS get save-state support then? That's another good reason to use ePSXe or most other PSEmuPro based emus...

I also like to play in windowed mode, for those japanese games that I need a walkthrough to play with.

I agreed with Kane and Shiori... Not to bash VGS because it's dead, but, I really see no point to use VGS while ePSXe is hell a lot better.

Well VGS has its uses... like Super Robot Wars Alpha and until ePSXe 1.6, Gundam Battle Assault 2.

[edit] oh yea, i think GBA2 is already compatible with PSXeven.

yes it is But prolly not the PAL one's coz i kept asking for gcodes and no one gave me any As for vgs, i have great respect for that emu, technically it's the best "emulator" of the psx right now. It also boasts one feature that not all psx emu's have, a completely reversed internal bios. Some people think that's easy, but actually its TOTAL HELL.

If u had my computer, u would use VGS! EPSXE is slower than VGS even using peops plugin, w/o any filtering and the res at 320x240! Anyway, vgs is still more compatible, most games plays perfect and the best thing: U don't need to configure anything.

About save states, I really don't care much about it. Its just a way of cheating.

Don't get me wrong I agree completely that peops plugin is great but while it does have excellent features like kreed, super sai, I think my point still holds value.
If your going to go for enhancement you might as well go for one with a little more kick.
Then again I could be wrong and usually am.
Thanks for listening.

Way of Cheating ??? Guessed we never thought it that way. Ever experienced a electricity black out while you're playing a very loooong game? Without a savestate, you have to restart it from the beginning? Com'on...

Anyway, your computer's using VGS now because ePSXe's slower? I had a Celeron 133 (or 166) I forgot, and a TNT2, and onBoard Sound Card. Using PeOPS Soft plugin, guess what happened? It ran pretty well compared with *very* software draw by VGS...and another thing, VGS's commercial while ePSXe not.!

Thanks

it really depends in the end on your pc specs. VGS is good for low specs pc's. but if you have a monster then fire up ePSXe youll be more satisfied with the results

I'm playing Snatcher on the MSX using the english sega cd version as reference. How's that?

Anyway, playing in a window has its advantages; you can keep an eye on your msn or icq (or trillian) in the meantime for example.
