How do you kill Psycho Mantis in MGS with psx emulators?

I'm stuck in MGS at psycho mantis. I know you have to plug con 1 into slot 2 on the psx console but how do i kill him using epsxe or vgs. Im also having problems converting my vgs memcards to epsxe mem cards with altos program. I need instructions.

I can't help u with psycho, that's a very good question. I haven't played MGS for a while but I think u are able to do a little bit of damage when you are playing in the first slot. Maybe after an 1 hour fight you'll win.

I can u help with the memory prob. First download this files: http://www.aldostools.com/memoryconverter.zip.

1-Simple, open the prog.
2-click on the ... icon
3-choose the right type of file(in the drop down menu) before choosing one (IMPORTANT)
4-choose your file
5-click convert
6-choose the right type of file before converting it
7convert
EASY

try to config your controller 2 on the keyboard

the player1 use gamepad then the other use keyboard just like that to avoid conflict and to beat mantis

i beat him now but dont know why the game is going like slow mo and when they talk its like an echo.
