Question
Okay, it's been a couple years since I've played PS (sold it *smack self here*) and all my games. Here's my question: Would it be worth (in all of your opinions) repurchasing games (such as Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy 9, Wild Arms, Final Fantasy Anthology, Final Fantasy (?? the one that has FF2 and CT, never played it, but heard it was alright), and possibly a few others for EpsxE? I know that there's a compatability list and I've read through it, but there seems to be, for some of the games I like, multiple things listed for some games (Final Fantasy Tactics for instance is listed as both Final Fantasy Tactic and Final Fantasy Tactics for some reason), and the compatability is like, 6 months+ old and there are people with different machines now. Frankly, games look great on the emulator. I've been reading everything here, and it seems that it would work well. I have XP 1700+, 512 mb PC-133 (at 40$ per 512mb, who can resist?) ram, Geforce2GTS, Sb Live! Value, and a few other who cares sorta specs. I've never used it (the emulator), just got it infact, so I'm just wondering ![]() Again, would it be worth going out and purchasing games? Thanks for any opinions.

Well, I bought FFT again as well as FF9, and I'm definately impressed. Though I am *kinda* annoyed by the complete black screen cover in FFT on the world map. And yes, I did a search for FFT and someone said this to resolve it: >>> That is solved by usning vRam prims instead of GFX card buffer, IIRC <<< I just have not been able to find any sort of option like that whatsoever. Is there anything I should know about FF9 before I get into it? I did see the specific game fixes and did see that FF9 had something that I will check before I play it, but I still haven't played anything beyond the first battle in that game. Thanks. (EDIT) In the past week or so, I've upgraded to a radeon 9000, so I have no idea how much difference it'll make. My last ATI card was the one that was built onto my ol' P2-233 back in 97'. > ePSXe is not as pefect as Bleem. > Biggest Joke of the century? maybe ![]() > Not for me! Ok, EPSXE is betta than Bleem!, but VGS is the best one. But this is MY opinion... well like chrono said, I respect your opinion about this matter... but since VGS is not anymore updated, ePSXe will surpass VGS in what was its advantages to ePSXe back then... and hope there will be a new release this year

I did a little tweaking recently and thanks to the new Pete's OpenGL 1.68 plugin,I have to admit that ePSXe is all that.Ehh.....I bite my earlier words "ePSXe is better than Bleem".

I think I played bleem for maybe three minutes several years ago before I realized it sucked, haha. But I guess it was the only thing available at the time (that I knew of). Thank goodness for these guys working on EpsxE. Gave me a reason to go out and get the games I missed *sigh*
