Controller Drivers

Is there a site out there that explains which drivers work better for what controllers?
I am using a Gravis Eliminator Aftershock. I have not yet been able to get a conroller driver to work for me. I can play the only game I own for the PS using keyboard set up but I want to be able to use the controller I bought. Any help is much appreciated.

Thank you

First I appologize if I have double posted. It was not intentional.
Second, I did as Dark Watcher suggested but no luck. I still have problems with my controler being usuable. Has anyone found a list of what plugins work best for what controllers. I know there is a list for the sound and video.
Thanks again for any help you can give me.

ePSXe doesn't use pad plugins in the Windows version.

I was using PCSX and none of the pads would work. I have gotten my pad to work with ePSXe. Am having fun playing the only PS1 game I own that I still have.

If it works with ePSXe, I don't see why it wouldn't work with PCSX.

Personally I use the Harakiri pad plugin with PCSX. Hope this helps.
