CloneCD question...
I backed up my psx game with clonecd awhile ago, but only saved the .img file since it was enough for running it with emu's. Is it still possible to burn it back to a CD and run it on the psx without the .ccd file?

wait a sec...when you rip a CD using CloneCD, you get 3 files: a .img, .ccd and .sub. Are you saying that you deleted the later two files after you ripped it, or that it never saved those two files in the first place? Anyways, just rip the CD again and burn it then.

no you need all 3, .ccd is the like the playlist... .sub, is the subchannel data, very important when it comes to copy protected games. and .img. is the cd image.

Daemon tools mounts the CCD image absoloutly fine. The CCD bit is the control data the SUB is subchannel data, and the IMG is the actual contents of the CD.

You mean CCD is like CUE sheet.. I can't believe all One made a piece of software wants to make it his way!! and the name they want!! Back to the question,, If you mount it using Daemon then you could burn it.. unless its copy protected using Sub-Channel Check.. So search the net about Copy Protection Detectors to Identify if it's PSX CD protected.. and All the other files just for full option, like the Tweeters in the Opel 1960s Car..
