using PEC...

helpp...i can't use the pec for my Gran Turismo 2 I tried it last night and it didn't work at neither vgs nor epsxe. the version before newest epsxe didn't work too...how can I use that on GT2? thanks

umm..what i mean it didn't work is: the code has no effect. and I choose GT2 (JAP) on game choice screen...I've used the pec plugin on epsxe. still didn't work...

See the dropdown menu where you pick the GPU plugin you want to use? There's a "configure" button down there, right? Click that, it'll open the GPU Config screen. Now from the taskbar, switch back to pec, and enable the cheats. You'll see a dialog box that says "Transferring cheats". When that disappears, close the PEC plugin config boxes. Don't close PEC itself, don't restart ePSXe. Just run the game in ePSXe and the cheats should be enabled.

I have GT2 Jap too, so I know. I don't cheat often though, just on the license tests.

sorry shiori but it didn't work either...i've done exactly u told me but the cheats just didn't activated....any other ideas?

Don't use the built-in PEC ones, they're the wrong codes. :/ Get them from the Game shark club something-or-whatever.

hi!

GSCCC has japanese GT2 codes ?

make sure the codes are for your region and version of the game.
There exist different version of GT2 in the US region (there is a version 1.0 and 1.1). Maybe it's the same in the JAP region.
If the codes aren't exactly for your version, it will not work.
Make also sure you activate only the codes you need - don't select too much codes.
And make sure you've selected the [pec] plugin as ePSXe's GPU plugin.

hellpp...still can't get the code to work..here's the codes from my database:

gran turismo 2 [jap]
gran turismo 2 [pal]
gran turismo 2 version 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 [us]

all have been tested and none of it worked...please tell me how to enable that thingy...

i've got the cheats from cmgsccc too but it seemed the same as gt2 us version...

Yeah... that's the only place where I get GS codes. I think I got them when they still had their old site though.

beckham_m7u: I posted a Japanese memcard in GameFAQs a year ago or so when I was still posting as Miki_Kaoru... Just get it from there. It's got all the licenses and a ton of money as well as some neat-o cars.
