Ripping the soundtrack to a game
I recently bought a second hand copy of Tenchu and am interested in putting some of the music tracks in it to mp3. However, the CD is just one big data track, so there appears to be no obvious way of recording the music. Is there anyway of sifting through the data track, extracting the music files and then converting them to mp3 format. Tenchu does offer a "Music Test" mode in which you can play the songs at your lesiure. I can record these using the SoundBlaster Live! series "whatuhear" feature. However the quality is very poor and songs have a tendency to skip. Forgive my ignorance, I know next to nothing about any of this, hence my enquiring. Cheers, Rac^ |

Try PSXMC. Failing that you'd have to use Eternal's recording option.

As kane said psxmc should be the first option and eternal the second. You can also try to use some software to the job for you. (Google is a nice place to search).
