Is there a way to get bleem to work in xp?

Is there anyway to get bleem! to work in windows xp? I know it is a little outdated but I would still like to try.

Until now. there is no patch for Bleem! to work on XP. Anyways, Its full of bugs and errors. The only game it emulate well is the PAL version of Gran Trismo and a few other games. try ePSXe , VGS or even PCSX instead.......

Bleem will not work on XP
Bleem tries to kick out the Kernel in order to run faster, and NT based oses dodn't like that for scurity reasons.

Use PCSX or ePSXe.

I kinda figured it didn't and I use ePSXe anyways. I always like to try all of the emus anyway... I know some emus play some games better than others. Thanks for the help...

Be careful when you say something like that. The Playstation library is huge, and there are lots of games known to be not yet emulated. An example off the top of my head: Initial D.

ahem.
it only plays the NTSC version of GT2 well...the PAL version works too, but it's played at the wrong speed causing a more choppy framerate.

nah, that game runs, but you're right. There's still a lot that's not working or not correctly working.

I think Shadow Lady was just saying with ePSXe and VGS you can run the vast majority of PSX games. Of course no emulator or combination of emulators will get every game working properly but ePSXe and VGS can come pretty darn close.

Samor, Kingstar was talking about GT1.
I like both GT1 and 2 NTSC on bleem tho. Don't know about PAL versions.

I never got Initial D to work with any emus. It actually hangs with ePSXe IIRC. Well I better check again.

Demigod,
I understand that of course. I'm just saying talks like that would confuse people new to this. "But he said I can run every game. Now I'm stuck with this new game I spent last week's lunch money on, and I can't play it!"

I think even some games are emulated on other emulators and NOT with that combo. So there are always reasons to try all emus.

BTW, I'm starting to use less ePSXe because the DualShock+DPadPro works so well with Harakiri plugin, which ePSXe does not support. Its rumble emulation is simply way too slow and somewhat inaccurate to be a viable alternative.

the same goes for gt1; pal version works, but not as smooth as it should be, ntsc is just fine.

Ok, I tried Initial D and it seems to have no problems.
I probably didn't test it with the latest ePSXe before, oops.

There is one way I think...........
Use Virtual PC, then run Bleem under Virtual PC.
But then it would probably run ****ty, plus Bleem has graphical + sound glitches in many games. A example would be Super Robot Taisen Alpha

If you did that, you wuldn't get any hardware acceleration. Rather defeats the object, you'd be better off running VGS.
