Nvidia Tweak

I'm using generic GeForce 2 MX 440 64MB RAM. After doing as instruction for tweaking, overlocking GeForce, (also install Rive Tuner), ePSXe 1.52 with Pete 1.67 run really slow and the quality of the graphic is just a bit improve!
Could someone who are very good at tweaking GeForce 2 give me some advice or show me which is the best configuration to boots up my GeForce 2 MX 440 64MB without making ePSXe a TURTLE? Thanks much much if someone can tell me.

try to reduce the settings that requires faster processor and big size of ram.

Sorry

Sorry!
That's GF2 MX 400!
I have another question
If I use Riva Tuner to tweak the antilising of my card to 2 x 2, is the graphic in PSX better?
I tweak my DirectX Config by using Riva Tuner then I use Pete D3D Plugin to play Chrono Cross and I find there's a lot of glitches, like black border. See the screenshot:
How to fix this glitches?

A few things:

1) FSAA is really slow on a GeForce 2. It will slow your game down a LOT. If you are having speed problems, then turn it off. FSAA will make the edges of polygons look straighter, and that's about it.

2) The black border might be caused by bilinear filtering, 2XSAI, or FSAA. I wouldn't know as I don't use the D3D plugin, and neither should you. (nvidia cards work better with OpenGL)

3) Running in 640x480 will make it look better, and will make it run better too.

4) turn off 2XSAI if you have it on. It will make things look much better if you have it on, but on your PC the performance hit would be unnacceptable.

use open gl if you are using ati or nvidia cards and turn on the ati/ nvidia fix for opengl to get rid of the black borders. d3d does not come with the fix though

Thanks

Thanks! I found my problem!
That's because of the antilising turned on. When I turn it off, and the graphic has no black gliches any more.
Besides, I also have GeForce 4 MX 420 64 MB, using Denator 30.82. In the antilising option, there are about 4 options. Which option is the best choice to perform best quality in PSX game? (4x or 2x or another). Overall, I want to know which is the best configuration for my card to perform best quality image of PSX. Thanks.

best quality is 4x FSAA. best speed is NO FSAA.

and also try the newer detenator drivers - the are slightly faster than the 30. series

no antialiasing = best speed whitout improvement
2xFSAA = good quality whit half speed
Quincunx = 4xFSAA quality whit 2xFSAA speed (blurry)
4xFSAA = best quality, quarter speed
4xS = better 4xFSAA quality (6xFSAA?)

thats like what I found ^^
is just like a reference, sometimes u use 2xFSAA or Quincunx and u will see no performance hit, especially on a GF3 or GF4 and when u use the 4xFSAA or 4xS FSAA u will ever notice the slowdown ^^

4xs adds a filter to the 4x mode to make it look better. Think of it as kinda Quincunx for 4xFSAA = slightly greater performance hit, better quality graphics.

So, if the quincunx is blurry, that means 4xs is blurry too...

Not really. It's a filter rather than a blurring technique.

4xfsaa and 4xs, which is more sharper in image quality (not blurry)...
