VGS Controller problem

Ok, I got the XP patch for VGS... and I'm using a usb controller... Nostromo something or other... anyway, it's set up like the twin stick psx controller or whatever. Got your two sticks and a d-pad, 4 buttons, and two Rs and Ls...

But in VGS I can only map the D-pad, and not the analog sticks... how can I do this?

well you see... you can't use the analogue stick on the vgs cuz... connectix never designed the emu to be played in gamepads that supports analogue. and they never really had a chance to improve the program cuz they got sued and bought out by sony.

nope, vgs doesn't use plugins. o well, what would you need analogue for anyway.

i find, playing with dpad is alot better than analogue (personal preference, i try to stay away from analogue as much as i can )

Well, some games... (Ape Escape) require an analogue pad, and it won't let me play at all >_< Oh, well, lol. Gonna have to use Epsxe for that or something.

so... your point...

i hate the analog, that's it. they are a burden, and break easily. and me, being an ancient gamer that i am, find it to be a real . i find it easier to play with the dpad, and... with the help of emulation... i could do away with the analog. (super smash brothers, mario, zelda, and practically almost all the n64 games)

Finally someone who thinks the same way as I do. I use the digital d-pad over anologue sticks any day of the week. And I find those games that have force feed back to make your pad shake really annoying.
