VGS problem....

Hi,

Have been trying to save my game (Suikoden 1) on VGS 1.41. The first time it says OK, the second time (for both opening and saving) it says Unable to open file.

Could some one tell me what is the prob.?

i think fujita can explain it better. Wait for him...

I have the ntsc version and it saves fine. Finished it a month ago with no problems.

I saw some articles on the net bout it not being able to save and all...

BUT you can save....why can't i?

Actually, some people (and myself

) did encounter the saving problem in Suikoden 1. When saving for first time, it when normally. But when trying to save for the second time, the would be an error. My solution to this problem is, each time you wanna save the game, press ESC and go to the preference menu, and create a fresh brand new memory card. It might be tedious, but this is the only way I finished Suikoden 1 using VGS.

I am sure that 's bug of emulator . I have a same problem with Parasite Eve ( I use both epsxe and VGS ) when I am trying to collect game 's secrets . I have 3 times ( game over ) to finish my collection . When I loaded memmory , it said memory save error . I failed for it that time .

VGS has some bugs cnsidering memory cards,...dont bother,.....if this happens with you once more,....just create a new card on one of these slots(slot 1 or2) and save your game!
