Hi I am Zapages thanks for Lord Kane for persuading me and helping in some ways with my problem that I have decided to join emuforums.com... Here are my computer specs... Intel P3 733 Mhz 30 Gb Harddrive 64 mb RAM Pioneer 16x DVD-ROM HP 10x-6x-32x CD-RW Windows Xp Professinal Edition I don't a PSX or PS2 so all of my PSX games I play on my Computer... I own VGS demo edition with a patch will enable it to run in Windows Xp... I bought a copy of Gundam Battle Assault 2 and Capcom vs SNK pro at Electronic Boutique a couple a days ago... I opened for the hinges so the Seal of 14 days return doesn't break... First I tried with ePSXe *latest version* I had no luck... I checked the Cd for scratches there were none... So I searched on the internet and I finally found a version of VGS demo that worked... So I placed my CD in my Pioneer DVD-Rom it worked but after a couple couple of seconds of running it'll stop and then start again... I thought it's probably an old version of the emulator like the first bleem demo... I have VGS 1.4 but that doesn't work for some reason... I played around a little in Arcade and then tried Street (Story) Mode...I picked RX-78 and beat the game up to the four round... Then I had to shut down the computer because I had to eat dinner.. Yesterday I felt like playing GBA 2... I placed the game and ran GBA 2... Then I reached the 3 stage and with it's usual hic ups ( freeze for a second and then work like the day before) the game suddenly frooze on me and then I just waited but nothing happened so I restarted my computer.... Then my mother called I had to eat dinner and my father wanted to go on... SO today I wanted to play GBA 2 again and hoping that the problem was the emulators fault or something... I played the Street Mode again with RX-78... It was fine and then on the same third stage it frooze again... I restarted my computer... I took the game out... I was schocked to see the game had scratches on it but it the computer still read the CD... I haven't checked the game on PSX or PS2 of its freezing... I have never reacived scratches on CD before like this.. .The scratches are around the inner circle.... I don't the cd is so scratched it can't run... So what should I do??? Should I return the game*but that is wrong* Should I buy a game doctor... I am worried because I really wanted to get this game for a long time...??? All rest of my games on the same VGS work with hic ups like GBA 2.. So the Hic are to be blamed on the VGS... I never received any hic ups from VGS on my Win ME, before I installed Win Xp Pro... Rest of my Capcom vs SNK pro works fine with ePSXe So can you guys help me... I will even post the VGS demo Zip file if want me too... Thank You BTW: Thank You Lord Kane to persuading me to join this forum... Last edited by Zapages; August 31st, 2002 at 02:48.. |
