Unfortunately, no. Perhaps asking experts, young one. I haven't solved my day mystery. What is the cause to this error? I haven't heard answers yet! Now, would someone please guide me! And end my daymare. ![]() For the expert; I'm running Windows XP Professional upgraded, my previous Windows version was ME®. Why is that programs downloaded from "/psx" don't work? According to the error, it says something about a .dll file missing. Oh, exact message: "<i><b> PSmplay.exe - Unable To Locate Component</b> ------------------------------------------------------------- This applicatioin has failed to start because WNASPI32.dll was not found. RE-installing the application may fix this problem. " </i> And I so done that a millions of times. What is the cause? The program just wont open no matter what I do. Come'on you programmers, experts etc., Help me! |

Nevermind that download, I got the program to work by downloading that dll file from Kazaa. Thanks though. Also, for the admin(s), you should really add that file to the zip(psmplay04_. Incase some have the same problem, or at least make an FAQ. For those that have "wnaspi32.dll" or "mfc42.dll" missing, please contact me. - Opposed .//_ ____ Teptrix Studios ___.// |

Actually, I really don't reccomend installing manually the .dll files for the ASPI layer. You should use a program like ForceASPI to install it for you, since it can make the changes and install ALL the files necessary to have an ASPI layer. It worked for you in this case, but maybe some other program that needs an ASPI layer will not run properly. btw, moved this thread to "Everything else PSX", since it actually has a topic
