I love my PSJOY from Lik-Sang. It works great with a PS1 Dual Shock controller. My only problem, is that the force feedback, while recognized, is not working with epsxe... I am using the PSJOY drivers that came with it, and it claims that it supports several different FF combinations (including Constant/Sine) When I press start, it rumbles. When I am in epsxe..it Rumbles when I go to the control pad screen (When set to Big-Constant, Small-Sine) It rumbles when I start a dual shock game... but does not rumble in game. Which confuses me greatly. Can anyone toss any advice out there to me? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Ethos |

This is from the ePSXe helpfile: Some people seem to have troubles getting Force Feedback to work for them. During testing, we found out that this feature only works when the controller is set as analog/digital in ePSXe's controller setup. Also, when setting up the analog controlls, messing with the options at the very bottom of the controller config screen is a bad idea - just setup the 4 way directional pad area with the analog stick instead of the directional pad. Hope it helps. |

Re: Force Feedback with PSJOY (Lik-Sang)
Hi ! I was looking for soluces to the same problem and, fortunately, I found the reason of this malfunction. In fact, I decided to go into Windows' register and found lots of joysticks installed. Concerning Psjoy, it was installed twice (I don't know why..). So I deleted ALL references to PSJoy in Register base (after uninstalling it in Configuration Panel). To do so, you'll have to look for Psjoy (with Search tool - in fact, using Cleansweep is easier...), then edit the Key with the Hardware Id, in order to make a new search with it. Then you run Windows and reinstall Psjoy ONE TIME, so epsxe won't have to choose between two joysticks... It works !! Now, I read a post concerning Force Feedback values, I'm going to change this, it's a bit to much (in Wipe out 3, it's rumbling too long time...). That's all, Folks ! Fred Quote:
