my friend recently made me some copies of final fantasy 9, and seeing as i dont have a psx, i use an emulator. i was wondering if ff9 would run well on any emulators, and if so, which ones would be best? thanks

Read the board rules before you get into trouble my friend... I won't close this thread, but this is a warning..

As to your question:

What are your system specs? My guess is, use epsxe.. The best psx emulator at the moment.. It plays FF9 just fine.. There are a few tricks needed for PAL versions of the game, but NTSC versions can run without a hitch..

hmm, if you dont own a psx, is it still illegal to run a commercial emulator such as VGS or bleem! which dont require you to provide a bios?

I don't see why it should be illegal to use an emulator that doesn't need a bios. Of course, in most countries it's illegal to use Games you don't own.
