Yes, maybe a patch or a resident program that can make the 640x480 display is always scanlined.
I'm just thinking how to fill some black colors in the video memory in 640x480 (the org display in vgs) so it can be looked scanlined.
But, I don`t any think about programming that.
May be anyone can do that.

Try epsxe. It looks a hellotta better, if that's what you're after.

If you're after scanlines buy a real Playstation and play it on a T.V. Only then will you achieve real scanlines.

Anyway, why do you want scanlines?
It's much better looking without it (I think).

Yes, I know that the best display of psx emu is using the epsxe, or other emu that using directx of opengl.
But for me, the best emu (the most compatible) is vgs. And we know that main problem in vgs is only the display.
So, if somebody can make it scanline (like the petesoft or peops, in monitor, not in tv), i like to hear that.

thanks.

Got a solution. Buy a LG Flatron 915FT, and play in 640x480. This monitor works with scanlines in this reselution
