a little consideration for Laptops

(not that I'm a frequent poster or anything here...)

Anyways, kinda of had a question for the PSX emu authors out there, and the plugin developer....

Could yall consider the people who use laptops to play PSX games when optimizing? Seriously, the only 2 emu's so far that have even accepted my Laptop's Cyberblade as a valid 3D card have been VGS and ePSXe...

I know, you can do a whole lot more with a Geforce or a Radeon, with 32 or 64 megs of video ram.... but how about considering the people who don't have those? who run on DX7 parts with under 8megs Vram?

Labtops are not viable platforms for 3D gaming, even if it's emulation. Labtop hardware is geared towards mobility and low power consumption. Some of the newer labtops have decent 3D accelerators (GeForce 2 Go, Radeon 7500) but most of the earlier ones don't. Just stick with a software plug-in or use VGS.

Software plugins on the laptops are much better on laptops. I have an Athlon XP 1500, 256 SD Ram, and some **** 3d card on my laptop, and I found that the software plugins work very well. So use software on laptops.

My laptop has a GeForce2Go, works well with Pete's MesaGL.
