errors message on starting CVGS

I need all the help I can get. I have my CVGS, the demos and all the updates, but every time I try to run Connectix.exe to try to patch it up to 1.41, I get 'A error occurred during initialization of CVGS, It appears as though CVGS is not Installed properly. Please reinstall from your master CD' I have a 800 MHZ CPu running under winxp home with 512mb of ram. Can anyone tell me what I may be doing wrong and how I can get this to work? Thanks

Use SaPu's patch or CVGS Video Patch XP

make sure you are running vgs w/ aldos vgshighres.
you must open vgs using the utility by aldo

Hrm, looks like the .exe is already patched with the Morlac backup CD patch. Try to get a copy that doesn't have it, like from the CD.

That's right ! This error appears if it's already patched ... Maybe you can start updating again...
