Why develop another PSX emulator, Mauros? It seems to be the same as ePSXe, and the compat level seems to match it as well. So what gives? If you're trying to make one that works with 3dfx cards, then I applaud. Makes Lewpy's job a little easier. Otherwise, I dunno....
Also, what makes the emu stand out?

Why make different distributions of Linux? I assume the reasons behind this are that a year ago he wanted a programming project, and chose this. I myself have not chatted to him on this subject so wouldn't know.
What is different from ePSXe I also don't know, but more emulators can only mean greater overall compatibility and features.

2. How can you say its same as epsxe and wow, how come you can find out the compatibility level of something which is yet to be released ? 3. All plugin based emus work with 3dfx cards so this one will also work with it. 4. Once a release is made then only you can think about comparing it with anything else.Comparing it with best even before its release is totally uncalled for. Finally,if you dont like it dont use it and yes ,please show some respect to other people's work. Afterall they are doing it as their hobby and you are not paying them anything from your pocket. Think before you post next time. |

I am just curious. I do respect other peoples' work (I am a FAQ writer for a couple of games). I just wanted to know what was different. I might have been a little harsh on my first post, but it was unintentional. Also to note: The 3dfx plugins, though they're great, haven't been updated lately.
Sorry, but I think you're being a bit harsh.

I was just thinking that! Lewpy has done quite a few recent releases, so that comment has no real basis.
(BTW, props to you Lewpy for work on your plugin. I've used it for a long time now.)

Thanks. I feel better. And is it just me, or is trout always cooked in a white wine sauce?

Fish goes with White wine. Red meat gets red wine. I'm gonna kill this now, I mean your question is as answered as it's gonna be methinks, and it's degenerating a bit now.
