Has anyone started on any projects that can emulate a GameShark Pro, or a sharkport using only a single USB-to-USB cable? I am fairly sure it is easy to do, but I haven't noticed anything.

anything USB is NOT easy to do yourself.
Because any device connected via USB needs a microcontroller inside. Programming such a controller requires quite a bit of expertise. I don't see anyone would start on such a project unless: 1. It's commercial, or 2. The guy is nuts.
