PS 2 Price Drop

Hello everybody

A few weeks ago there was a big commotion about the PS 2 Price drop. But I have never seen any official announcedment of the price drop. Does any body know more about the price drop, like when the price will be dropped ect

AFAIK the prices already droped, the PS2 costs $199 USD IIRC

Well, in the the netherlands (in Europe) it is stil about 300 euro (is also $300 USD). Thats really strange

Not to mention the X box and Ninteindo Gamecube have also dropped their prices!!! Xbox is at 200$ and Gcn is at 150$!!

the price drops are in the US only, afaik..
they already dropped the priced in europe to what they are now a while ago..

Well I i think $100 USD is still a big difference, it would be cheaper for me to buy al PS2 in America and to send it over

Actually, the PS2 here I have seen for £170, which is more expensive than you guys are getting it for but its better than the £200 price tag we once had (or roughly $260 USD)

You life in England, well that is strange, in Holland (not so far from you) it is still much more expensive

Can anybody publish a service to buy PS2 to me or someone else in other country?I live in Viet Nam,the price are very high : 6000000 VND(Viet nam currency)~=400USD.In fact that I only can pay about 200-250USD for that thing.^_^

well that would cost you also a charge for delivery, which might also cost you...

maybe there are some bargain malls or even in a black market there in vietnam where you can buy the console for a cheaper price... just a suggestion

Yeah here in the UK the Xbox is £200 and the GameCube is £130.

If you buy it in the US, you will have problems using it in Europe. They have 110V instead of 230V electricity, other TV sets (NTSC vs. PAL).
