I installed Windows XP Professional. A good while ago I was a fervent user of the players for PSX medias, such as PSMplay and PsxMC. Lately I tried to run the later one, but refused to read anything from the PSX disc for cause of "Can't find winaspi.dll". Downloading and installing the drivers I what I did. But it didn't fixed the problem. Wether I install the most recent version or a dated version from the Adaptec aspi drivers, it still can't find them. I didn't had this problem while working with Windows 98 SE.
So the solution would be to find a PSX media player that doesn't need aspi drivers, or to find a way to fix this problem. This is all I could try, and I don't know anything else to do... If anyone can help, then please inform me about a solution! By the way, why does these players needs ASPI drivers? Isn't SCSI on his death kneel? |
