how can i rip music from a psx1 iso

you cant. you can only rip MDECs off. go to the movie players section for those.

and this belongs on the everything else PSX board:

and, you need daemon tools to mount the ISO on a phantom drive, or no movie players will read it.

You can rip XA tracks (CDDA) and STR data (FMV) from PSX CDs but not midis or anything else.
