Hello everybody I have VGS 1.4.1 and I am using Deamon tools to create a virtual cdrom. I create ISO's with CDR WIN 4.0A. When I start VGS it stay's at "Loading CD ROM... etc" (it doesn't hang but it is responding slow) Does any body know what's wrong?? Greetinx Atze |

Did you load the ISO into the virtual CD-ROM? And if you have a physical CD/DVD-ROM drive then make sure there is nothing in them. VGS will try to read those drives first before the virtual drive and if it finds a disc it'll try to load it (even non-psx CDs).

VGS will always read from the first drive, whether it's a CDRom or virtual drive (I think). How about trying to diagnose your system? Did your VGS started properly if you didn't use the virtual drive? Make sure the drive letter are properly adjusted at system config. There is also a chance that your ISO isn't working well. This can happen if you used a not-so-good CDRom when burning it at the first place. I hope that would help.

I had the same problem when I try to create ISO file from standard burning CD like CDRwin, Nero, etc. After I make ISO none of them work both VGS and ePSXe, but after I use ISO Buster from http://www.smart-projects.net/isobuster/ and install daemon tools 3, the ISO file work perfectly. Maybe you should try that program.
